POLICIES

BOOKINGS | SCHEDULING

All investments are based on a first come first serve bases. Shoots can be scheduled through email at Orondajowensphoto@gmail.com or through the Contact section on the website. Once your request has been sent, the photographer will reply at his earliest convenience to answer your request and schedule your shoot based on his availability. Bookings are not set nor deemed serious until proper signed Contract and retainer fee received.

 

CONSULTATION

Every client is unique, and with their investment each image captured  should reflect their personality, style, and desires whilst telling a story. A Consultation call is required with every inquiry so that we can ensure we are best fit and I understand each clients vision and how we can bring their vision to fruition. That's why I take the time to understand my clients, to connect with them, and to tailor my photography to fit their specific purpose. I approach every photography session with a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and a dedication to excellence. I work closely with my clients to understand their vision, and to create a unique and personalized experience that exceeds their expectations.

DATE RESERVATION FEE

The Amount Due at Signing, is a Date Reservation Fee (RETAINER FEE). Upon receipt the Photographer will reserve the time agreed upon for the Event Date and will not make another reservation for the agreed upon time. For this reason, the Date Reservation Fee is non-refundable.

 

PAYMENT POLICY

Retainers and final payments for All shoots must be paid in full prior to the beginning of any scheduled shoot via electronic payment methods (Paypal, CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle). For pre-pay services final amount due is 3 weeks prior to scheduled Photoshoot. Standard payment pricing final balance is due within 72 hours before shoot day.

 

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

This agreement constitutes an order for portrait photography services, and any additional services outlined in Packages. It is agreed to by both parties, Photographer and Client, as described above. Client agrees to pay Total Amount by the Final Payment Due By Date as defined above.

 

LATE POLICY

If the client runs more than 20 mins late, a surcharge fee of $50 will be added. There is a 10 minute grace period. Late arrivals result in shorter sessions. If additional time is desired by the client to retain the full photoshoot session time duration (depending on studio and photographer's availability), a $50/hr fee + additional late fees will be applied to their final invoice. Otherwise, the photoshoot session will end at the time specified in their appointment booking. 

 

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING


ALL retainer fees & session are non-refundable. Client must reschedule the date of the portrait shoot listed above no later than 48 hours in advance prior to scheduled appointment time as specified in the confirmation email with the written approval of the Photographer. Should the Photographer be unable to accommodate the Client's rescheduled date, the Client will not be held responsible for the remaining balance of this portrait photography contract, but will forfeit their initial deposit. If clients are not able to shoot because of an unforeseen family emergency, death, or sickness they must notify the photographer at least an hour before the shoot. Rescheduling of a shoot will be up to the discretion of the photographer. 

 

TARDINESS | NO SHOWS

If a client will be late for a shoot they are to notify Oronda J. Owens Photography ahead of time so adjustments can be made for other clients he may have that day. Clients are allowed a 20 min grace period if late however any further delay will result in the forfeiture of their shoot and deposit. A "No Call No Show" is an automatic cancellation and a forfeiture of your deposit and photoshoot. 

 

TURNAROUND TIME


Clients will receive image proofs within 3 days of their shoot. Image proofs are watermarked and unedited. There is a  7 - 14 Business Day Edit Turnaround, the period BEGINS after the edits are selected via the Photo Gallery by client and photographer is notified via EMAIL. (Business Days do NOT include Saturday and Sunday).

 

PROPS | PHOTOSHOOT DECORATIONS

Props for photoshoot are not provided by the photographer. All props and decorations such as flowers, balloons, custom decorations, tables, chairs, and etc. are provided by the client. If a client would like props or decoration services an up charge will be applied to cover the materials and labor.

COPYRIGHT | IMAGE DELIVERY

All rights of the images taken and edited are reserved to the photographer to display on social media, websites, commercial purposes and marketing material. Clients may request a Copyright Release Form for media, printing, commercial, and promoting purposes. Once images are ready they are sent through an online proof gallery via provided link with images in an online resolution (best for posting on Facebook and Instagram) and a print resolution (best for getting prints made with). 

 

No part of any order, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.
